Training will be scheduled with a morning session from 9:00 am to 11:00 am;
training will resume in the afternoon at 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
The Section 3 program requires that recipients of certain HUD financial assistance, to the greatest extent feasible, provide job training, employment, and contracting opportunities for low- or very-low income residents in connection with projects and activities in their neighborhoods.
The overall objective of this training is to provide participants with the tools and resources necessary to become knowledgeable in this provision and its implementing regulations. Please note that this training will not cover the regulations specifically for Public Housing Authorities.
