The Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA) is seeking a highly motivated Marketing &
Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead social media, digital marketing, member engagement,
and communications efforts. This remote position reports to the President & CEO and requires
periodic travel to OEDA events. The ideal candidate will have experience in economic development
(preferably in Ohio), strong writing and marketing skills, and a background in digital
communications.

Key Responsibilities:
 Social Media & Digital Marketing – Manage OEDA’s LinkedIn presence, create and
schedule content, expand to additional platforms, and engage with followers.
 OEDA Express (Weekly Newsletter) – Research and compile economic development news,
maintain investor and member updates, and manage email campaigns in WildApricot.
 Website & Content Management – Maintain and update OEDA’s WordPress website,
ensuring accurate and engaging content.
 Investor & Member Engagement – Support investor relations, ensure proper recognition and
benefits, and assist with sponsorship outreach.
 Analytics & Growth Strategy – Track engagement metrics, analyze trends, and recommend
strategies to increase visibility and effectiveness.
 Event & Webinar Support – Assist with video, podcast, and webinar production, as well as
in-person event coordination.

Ideal Candidate:
 Must reside in Ohio.
 3+ years of economic development experience preferred (LEDO experience a plus).
 Proven expertise in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
 Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
 Proficiency in SaaS tools like Canva, Salesforce, WordPress, Adobe, and AI tools (ChatGPT,
Claude, Perplexity, etc.).
 Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to manage multiple projects.

Compensation & Work Environment:
 Remote role with periodic in-person travel for key OEDA events.
 Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000, based on experience and inclusive of a performance-based
annual bonus.
