Brownfield Applications Now Open for Eligible Counties

Applications for Round 2 of the Brownfield Remediation Program are now open for eligible counties.
The Brownfield Remediation Program provides grants for the remediation of brownfield sites throughout Ohio. Nearly $350 million in funds is available through three rounds of funding. A $1 million set-aside per county will be available until June 30, 2022.
Round 2 funding is only available for counties who did not meet their $1 million county set-aside in Round 1. Applications can be submitted for remaining set-asides available. Any requests over the remaining county set-aside will be eligible to apply in Round 3.
Eligible counties and remaining set-asides can be found on development.ohio.gov/brownfield.
Round 2 applications close April 30.
