Featuring local tours covering healthy affordable housing, refugee and immigrant microbusinesses, and resident and civic engagement; workshops including effective state-level advocacy, technology’s role in community development, and mitigating unintended consequences of community development; a young and emerging professional networking event; and a keynote presentation by Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation, the conference acknowledges that we function best as an industry – as a community – by working together.
